For Nitefreak, the invitation is a powerful endorsement from one of Africa’s most influential figures in electronic music.

Kunye, founded by Shimza in 2020, has become one of the continent’s leading platforms for Afro House and Afro Tech music, showcasing top talent to audiences across the globe through live events, livestreams and artiste development programmes.

Being selected to perform on the platform places Nitefreak among an elite group of African electronic music stars who have graced the celebrated stage.

The achievement marks yet another milestone in Nitefreak’s remarkable rise from Bulawayo’s music scene to international recognition.

Over the years, he has built a loyal global fan base through his infectious productions, electrifying performances and collaborations that have earned him support from international music giants such as Shimza himself, Black Coffee and Diplo.

His hit productions, including Premier Gaou, Kamili and Gorah, have received widespread acclaim and helped establish him as one of Africa’s leading Afro House exports.

The Kunye appearance is expected to further boost Nitefreak’s growing international profile while opening doors to new collaborations and performance opportunities across the world.

With yet another major platform calling his name, Nitefreak’s journey from Bulawayo to the global stage shows no signs of slowing down.
