BULAWAYO Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Judith Ncube read the President’s speech at the province’s lndependence celebrations at the White City Stadium this afternoon.
The speech touched on the Second Republic’s achievements over the past year.
People from across the province braved the chilly weather to attend the celebrations, which will culminate in a football match between Highlanders and Chicken Inn.
Members of the defence forces provided entertainment with their drills.
