BARELY, a month after the release of their debut single, “Banolila – Mother nature is crying”, the Bulawayo Children’s Choir has topped the charts with that very song which premiered on the Skyz Metro FM’s Top 20 show last week.

Formed just a month ago in December, the choir’s rapid rise to fame is a testament to their talent and dedication.

The choir’s Creative Director, Trevor Mawaka, expressed his excitement and gratitude at the single’s success.

“We are thrilled and humbled by the overwhelming response to our debut single,” said Mawaka.

“It’s a dream come true for the children and the entire team who have worked tirelessly to make this project a reality.”

According to Mawaka, the choir isn’t resting on their laurels.

They are set to launch their second single, “Bulawayo – The Place We Call Home”, this coming Friday.

The song is a heartfelt tribute to the city of Bulawayo and its rich cultural heritage.

The Bulawayo Children’s Choir’s achievement is not only a milestone for the group but also a source of pride for the city of Bulawayo and the country as a whole.

With their unique sound and energetic performances, the choir is set to make waves in the music industry for years to come. – Follow on X @MbuleloMpofu
