BULAWAYO DEPUTY MAYOR CLEARED OF BRIBERY CHARGE Councillor remains in dock

BULAWAYO Deputy Mayor Councillor Edwin Ndlovu has walked free after being acquitted of bribery charges that had rocked the city council.
Ndlovu had been jointly accused alongside Councillor Mpumelelo Moyo of allegedly demanding a US$20 000 bribe.

The Deputy Mayor, who was represented by lawyer Zibusiso Ncube of Ncube and Partners, was acquitted while Moyo’s case took a different turn.
Moyo, who is represented by Prince Butshe of Butshe and Associates, was remanded out of custody to Monday next week.
