Bulawayo football coach reportedly arrested over rape allegations

A Bulawayo-based football coach has reportedly been arrested in connection with allegations of rape.

Details surrounding the alleged incident remain sketchy, but sources said the alleged offence occurred at a house in Barbourfields, Bulawayo, over the weekend.

The coach was reportedly picked up by police on Monday evening and taken to Bulawayo Central Police Station for questioning.

However, police had not officially confirmed the arrest or the allegations at the time of going to press.

The coach has previously worked with several Premier Soccer League clubs.
