Bulawayo gears up for 8th National Thanksgiving and Dedication Service

SEVERAL buses have been availed to ferry people to the eighth edition of the annual National Thanksgiving and Dedication Service set for Sunday in Bulawayo.

President Mnangagwa and scores of religious leaders are expected to grace the annual event.

The event set for the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair gounds is organised by the Faith for the Nation Campaign in partnership with the Zimbabwe Indigenous Interdenominational Council of Churches (ZIICC).

Faith for Nation campaign committee representative, and renowned gospel musician, Mrs Shuvai Wutawunashe said so far nine buses have been secured for congregants.

“So far we have nine buses to pick congregants at usual pick up points to the venue and back,” she said.

Mrs Wutawunashe said more buses from various provinces are still worked on.

This year’s theme is “Our Nation, Our Opportunity- celebrating the progress and acknowledging the potential for our country Zimbabwe.”
