BULAWAYO has been playing host to the Zimbabwe’s premier showjumping and dressage competition over the past four days which ends at the Zimbabwe Trade Fair Arena on Tuesday afternoon.
It is one of the biggest events of the year in the Zimbabwe Equestrean Federation calendar.
“This year’s event is our 70th Anniversary of the show being held at the Bulawayo premier venue,” said Tanya Oliver the chairperson of the Matabeleland Branch of the ZEF.
She said the event has gone smoothly with no incidents.
Competitors have been drawn from Bulawayo and Harare the more active provinces.
“We have had riders coming from Harare and next month they will host the prestigious national championships,” she said.

Also taking part in the event were two riders who were with the Zimbabwe team at the Africa Schools Games in Algeria last week, Terry Angelos and Keely Downey.
