The Bulawayo Jazz Festival, which had been scheduled for December 18 at a local restaurant in the city, has been postponed to a later date, organisers have announced.

In a statement, the organisers said the decision was taken to ensure that both artistes and audiences enjoy a more complete and enriching festival experience.

“This decision allows us to give our talented artistes and valued audience the full spotlight and experience they deserve. We’re working behind the scenes to bring you an even better show,” said the organisers.

They added that new dates will be announced soon, once arrangements are finalised.

Organisers also assured patrons that all tickets already purchased will be fully refunded, with further details on the reimbursement process to be communicated directly to ticket holders.

The festival had been set to showcase a strong jazz line-up featuring Selmor Mtukudzi, Victor Kunonga, Jeys Marabani, Mahlaba, and The Outfit Band featuring Mimmie Tarukwana, making it one of the most anticipated live music events on Bulawayo’s cultural calendar.
