Bulawayo man goes missing for 30 years

A Bulawayo man who should be now 62-years-old has reportedly been missing for the past 30 years having been last seen in August 1994.

According to Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube, Michael Mabhena of Nkulumane in Bulawayo went missing sometime in August 1994 when he left his place of residence and did not return.

“The missing person is approximately 1.67m height, medium body, and dark in complexion. He was last seen wearing a black and white T-shirt, black jean trousers and white farmer shoes,” said Insp Ncube.

Mabhena joins three other men in Bulawayo who have been reported missing with police appealing for information that may assist in the location of these missing men.

Alexandra Chagaka

Inspector Ncube said Alexandra Chagaka a male adult aged 47 years of Emganwini, Bulawayo went missing sometime in March 2024 when he left his place of residence and did not return. He said the missing person has a medium body, dark in complexion, and he is about 1,6 metres in height. He was last seen wearing blue trousers, brown jacket and a green cap.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is also appealing for information that may assist in the location of a missing person; Gift Muvhuro a male adult aged 25 years of Cowdrypark Bulawayo.

“The missing person went missing on the 25th of July 2024 when he left home and did not return. The missing person is slim build, light in complexion, and has short hair. He was last seen wearing blue T-Shirt, orange and black crocs,” said Insp Ncube.

Partson Khumalo

He also said the police is appealing for information that may assist in the location of a missing person; Partson Khumalo a male adult aged 28 years of Pumula South, Bulawayo.

“The missing person went missing on the 23rd of May 2024 when he left his place of residence and did not return. The missing person is slim build, dark in complexion, and he is about 1,5 m height. He was last seen wearing black bomber jacket, black shirt, black short and black cap.

“Anyone with information that may assist in the location of the missing person may contact ZRP Pumula on cell number 0715672887 or (0292)422907 or visit any nearest police station,” said Insp Ncube.
