BULAWAYO model and digital creative Sinokubonga Nkala is using her participation in Miss Petite Global Zimbabwe 2027 to raise awareness about autism and advocate for greater acceptance and inclusion of autistic children.
The 23-year-old Bulawayo-born and bred model is among the finalists in the pageant, which will hold its grand finale on 31 October at the Zimbabwe College of Music in Harare.

Beyond modelling, Nkala is an animator, digital marketer and 3D designer who is passionate about promoting autism awareness through her organisation, Beyond Circumstances Foundation.
She began her modelling career in 2024 and has since secured positions in two beauty pageants. She was crowned Second Princess in Miss 2K Bulawayo and went on to become a Top Seven finalist in Miss Ebony Zimbabwe.
Her advocacy work focuses on encouraging society to recognise the needs and potential of autistic children while creating an environment where they can access support and equal opportunities.
“I chose autism awareness because I believe every child deserves love, acceptance, understanding and equal opportunities, regardless of their circumstances. I want to help create a more inclusive society where autistic children are seen, valued and supported,” said Nkala.

Through Beyond Circumstances Foundation, which she founded, Nkala seeks to promote autism awareness, encourage acceptance and organise initiatives aimed at supporting and bringing joy to autistic children.
The foundation’s message is: “See the child, embrace the difference, and create brighter possibilities.”
She is supported by the foundation’s core members, Londile Moyo, Tanyaradzwa Chuma and Lindsay Chuma, in advancing its mission.

The upcoming Miss Petite Global Zimbabwe finale marks the second edition of the pageant, which brings together contestants competing for the national title.
