THE Bulawayo Motoring Club (BMC) season will start on February 22 with a drag race.
The biggest event in the calendar will be the Three Hour Endurance on December 6.
According to the 2014 calendar, which was released yesterday by BMC vice-chairman Zane Shah, the drag race will be the first event of the year.
Shah said preparations are on course for the first event.
“Now we have started preparing for the drag races which are the first event in our calendar, they are open to everyone.
“So we encourage the public to come in numbers, even those who are non-members are free to join the club which is just $55 only and they are so many benefits from being a member,” said Shah.
Non-members will pay $10 to take part in drag events while it’s free for members.
“Basically we encourage those who want to take part in any of the events to become members because it’s cheaper,” he said.
In March there will be the second event while in April there will be the ever popular Sound-Off and Car Show.
Up to September there will be drag competitions.
