THE Bulawayo Motoring Club (BMC) will hold the Sound off car show at Breedon Everard circuit along Victoria Falls Road on Saturday.
BMC’s Zane Shah said the event is open to anyone and encouraged motorists and bikers to come in numbers.  “I encourage those who have their cars who want to show off with their subwoofers to come and do it on the race course not to make noise on the streets.
“It’s open to everyone, there are no restrictions, it will be just a family fun day,” said Shaz.

In the competition, a sound pressure level meter is used to determine the reading of the car, the meter is placed on the window shield with windows closed when it starts and you crank the volume to maximum.

Shaz said there will be different range of classes from 8” inch, 10”, 12” A inch, 12 B”, 13” and Open class depending on size of a subwoofer .
There will also be a car show, where drivers will get a chance to display their cars in five categories, classic and vintage, sports and saloon, customised, bakkies class as well as bikes. The public will get to vote for the winner in each category.
