ACTION in the Bulawayo Netball League resumes today after their month-long mid season break. Takonana Nsala, one of the league’s officials, said that the second half of the season would resume today after their mid season break that was meant to create room for some of the players who had to participate in the Zimbabwe National Youth Games and Region Five provisional team camp in August.

“Our league games will be resuming today after our one month mid season break, that was meant to make way for the recently ended National Youth Games in Masvingo and the Region Five provisional team camp,” said Nsala.

Nsala said that the league was still without a sponsor after making efforts to get one since the beginning of the netball season.

“Efforts of getting a sponsor have proved unsuccessful so far and we will be resuming the second half of the league without sponsorship, I am appealing to the corporate sector to assist financially in any way as the league is struggling and has resulted in some teams pulling out of the league,” said Nsala.
