THE Bulawayo Pool Association executive has come up with new registration fees for Premier and Division One clubs for the 2014 season.
The deadline for club registration is March 11 while the league starts on March15. BPA publicity secretary Donald Wadawu confirmed that the association had pegged new fees.
“We deliberated and agreed on new registration fees, which are payable in instalments,’’ said Wadawu.
He said Division One clubs will pay $50 each and $250 for 30 players.
A Premier League will pay $100 as their club registration fee while $275 will be the registration fee for the 30 players.
He said each team would be charged extra for registering players over the initial list of 30 players.
“The clubs will have to pay $2 each for every player they register, when they exceed the initial squad of 30,” said Wadawu.
The registration fees would be paid in three installments on March 11, March 31 and April 30.
Division One clubs will pay the instalments in multiples of $100 while Premier League teams would settle their dues in multiples of $125.
“Only minimum payment plans are expected at each given deadline and teams are encouraged to either pay more or full affiliation registration fees if resources permit,” said Wadawu
Wadawu said the league fixtures draw would be held on March 12 a day after the registration closes.
