Bulawayo production, Soulmate returns on ZTN for Season 2

THE second season of Soulmate, a series produced in Bulawayo is now airing on ZTN (DStv Channel 294).

The interesting series gets dark and daring as every character faces the consequences of their choices and actions in Season 1.

Jackie Dube, HeartFx Studios assistant producer said: “In this season, Locratia (Randal Ncube) tells her side of the story about her soulmate, Phumza (Braydan Heart). However, Locratia’s side of the story is very different from the events Phumza relates in Season 1.

“After the murder of Dumisani Maphosa (Ben Chest), two detectives investigate the case and Anita (Ntombi Buhlungu) is framing the ghetto boys to try to cover her tracks.

“Phumza is the main suspect, Mandla (Tabaka Mathula) and the skunkheads become desperate to clear their names from the case. Locratia is pregnant with Lyons (Calvin Madula) child.”

Executive producers of the series are Brayden Heart, Ivy Roney and Tabaka Mathula while the production manager is Ntombi Mathula who also is part of the writers alongside Tabaka Mathula.

The first cinematographer is Dumi Manyathela with the second cinematographer being Rodney Mabaleka.

The cast comprises Brayden Heart, Randal Ncube, Brucella, Nkosinathi Kezzman Mabuza IV, Perfect Nkiwane, Calvin Madula, Shingayi Muganda, Mitchel Heather, Ntombie Buhlungu, Qeqeshiwe Mntambo, Prudence Changara, Tavaka Mutanha, Tafadzwa Thabiso Maodzwa, Fredric Ncube, Andile Nyambo, Bhekiwe Dube, Samantha Tshuma, Ben Chester, Nkosi Miles, Katey Karar and Methembe Ndlovu. – @mthabisi_mthire
