Bulawayo set for sunny and mild Wednesday weather

Vusumuzi Dube, Deputy Radar Editor

BULAWAYO residents can expect sunny and mild conditions on Wednesday, with forecasters predicting pleasant daytime temperatures and little chance of rainfall as the city continues to experience typical winter weather.

According to weather forecasting service AccuWeather, temperatures are expected to reach a daytime high of around 23°C to 25°C, before dropping to between 10°C and 11°C overnight as chilly conditions return after sunset.

The forecast indicates clear to mostly sunny skies throughout the day, accompanied by light easterly winds and a very low probability of precipitation.

The cool morning conditions are expected to give way to warmer temperatures by midday, creating favourable conditions for outdoor activities, business operations and travel.

Motorists and early commuters have, however, been advised to dress warmly during the early hours of the day and late evening when temperatures are expected to be significantly lower.

The dry and stable weather pattern is expected to persist across much of Matabeleland in the coming days, with forecasters predicting continued sunshine and cool nights typical of the winter season.
