Bulawayo tennis selects provincial team

Selection starts today and ends tomorrow.

The national schools trials will be held on 18-21 February.

Teams that will be selected are the Under-15 and the Under-17 age-groups.

Adam Joelson, Tarwirwa Chikunichawa and Nomvelo Ngwenya will conduct the trials at Girls College while Artwell Mutape will be in charge of the boys’ team.

The teams will be drawn into groups then they will compete for a slot in the provincial team.

Bulawayo Tennis board chairman Joelson said they had already written to the schools so that they bring their teams to the trials.

“We have written to most of the schools and they will be here so that we select a team that will represent the province at national level,” Joelson said.
