Bulawayo to have day-long electricity cut

BULAWAYO Western Suburbs will be without power tomorrow, 18 July, between 9 am and 6 pm due to scheduled maintenance.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company(ZETDC) said affected areas include  Luveve, Entumbane, Njube, Matshobane, Lobengula, Gwabalanda, Emakhandeni, New Lobengula, Complex NRZ Diesel Shed and Marshalling Yards, Mzilikazi, Barbourfields Stadium, Mpilo hospital, TB Hospital,  Mpopoma, Mabutweni, Old Lobengula, and the surrounding areas.

“During the maintenance period, Citizens are strongly urged to treat all circuits as LIVE, as power restoration might occur without prior notice,” read the statement.
