Bureau Veritas at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair to promote trade facilitation, grow exports

WE are quite excited to be part of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Exhibition and pleased with the huge turnout that we have seen so far.

We are here to showcase our testing, inspection and certification expertise across various divisions inclusive of Government services, as well as certification and training-related services.

We are a proud partner of the Government of Zimbabwe in the implementation of the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment trade facilitation Programme since its inception in 2015 and we have seen a positive compliance adoption from importers, clearing agents, business chambers, among other key stakeholders.

As a global partner operating in more than 140 countries we continue to offer innovative, efficient and streamlined services to better support the trading community and facilitate an easier way of doing business while clarifying mandatory technical requirements related to standards prescribed by the Government on regulated categories of imports.

We are playing an active role in supporting the “Export Focus” vision of the country by playing a trade facilitation role on importation of inputs that are compliant with national requirements and international standards before any further local value addition and onward consignment to various markets.

We believe Zimbabwe will continue to harness and reap the benefits of having such a conformity assessment programme.

Of interest we are extending additional services related to certification and management systems training to enhance awareness on integral standards such as ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 to mention a few through adaptive training mediums, including virtual, structured classes or on-site options available at our Harare offices.

Our courses are internationally recognised and accredited with CQI-IRCA. Broadly speaking we are a global leader in testing, inspection and certification across various sectors such as agri-food, metals and minerals, industry, as well as oil and gas.
