Tomorrow, the family of the late award-winning comedian Clive Chigubhu will host a private lunch and prayer session to mark the second anniversary of his passing.

Chigubhu, who was 31 at the time of his death, is survived by his daughter. He was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell lymphoma.

The family plans to gather for a remembrance that will include his young daughter, Cherice Chigubhu, who turned seven this year and is now in grade 2.

The late comedian’s uncle, Prince Mboweni, reflected on the impact Clive had on those around him.

“He awed fans whenever he held the mic, and we want to celebrate the legacy of an artist who brought so much joy,” Mboweni said.

“If he could hear us from the other side, we would love to let him know that his light will always shine in our hearts. Rest easy King,” added Mboweni. – @mthabisi_mthire
