ZIMBABWE international cricketers, Ryan Burl and Richard Ngarava, are set to take part in the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

They have been signed by Sylhet Strikers.

The two Chevrons stars are no strangers to international franchise cricket having taken part in some of the best leagues in the world.

They are the only Zimbabweans who were picked to take part in Bangladesh’s premier franchise cricket competition.

This will be Ngarava’s maiden appearance at the BPL.

Burl, a hard hitting all-rounder, will be returning to Sylhet Strikers after impressing them in this year’s edition.

Burl has also played for Chattogram Challengers.

The two stars are some of the shining talents in the Zimbabwe national team and will be playing alongside the likes of Harry Tector, Ben Cutting, Shafiqul Islam and Mashrafe Mortaza.

The duo has been enjoying a good run in international cricket.

Ngarava will be looking to continue with growing his profile in franchise cricket after a successful debut spell in the Lankan Premier League (LPL) where he turned out for Galle Titans of Sri Lanka.

A total of seven teams are set to compete in the upcoming edition of the BPL.

It will get underway in January.

The seven participating teams are Fortune Barishal, Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Strikers and the Khulna Tigers.

Burl and Ngarava will join big names like Dasun Shanaka, Kasun Rajitha, Shakib Al Hasan, Babar Azam, Ihsanullah, Matheesha Pathirana, Brandon King, Wanindu Hasaranga, Tamim Iqbal, Shoaib Malik, Paul Starling, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammed Amir, who were all picked by different teams.
