Ms Marvelous Mubango (23) also left Harare Central Hospital where she was admitted for the past seven months without one of her eyes that was permanently damaged.
She sustained 21 percent electrical and open flame burns and had exposed sensory nerve endings.
But Ms Mubango, who was four months pregnant at the time of the incident, came out of the hospital with a bouncing baby.
She was admitted at the hospital on March 18 after she sustained serious burns when she fell on the electricity cables.
The commuter omnibus conductor David Machekera (23) died on the spot.
Harare Central Hospital public relations officer Mrs Monica Mukotsanjera said Ms Mubango was battling to pay the US$5 000 medical bill.
“We are going to talk to Zesa Holdings so that they help in paying the bills,” she said.
Mrs Mukotsanjera said Ms Mubango left the hospital with her husband Mr Tonderai Maheti, who promised to pay the bill.
The couple was seeking US$1 million compensation from Zesa Holdings, saying they were negligent when they left the cables exposed.
Ms Mubango scuffled with the conductor after the omnibus crew decided to divert the route and she demanded to be dropped.
But the conductor did not offer her change, resulting in the scuffle.
