Zanu-PF Manicaland Women’s League chairperson Cde Happiness Nyakuedzwa has implored party members to bury past differences and work in harmony to ensure the ruling party maintains its dominance in the province.

Cde Nyakuedzwa urged party members to desist from persecuting those who once worked with the vanquished G40 cabal, but to work towards rehabilitating and allowing them to continue serving the party.

Cde Nyakuedzwa, who reclaimed the post she had lost after refusing to work with colleagues that had been aligned to the G40 cabal, said she did not harbour hard feelings against those who tormented her.

She said the Women’s League was following President Mnangagwa’s wise counsel to embrace everyone and move the party forward.

“Elections are around the corner and as Manicaland Women’s League, we are calling upon all party members to unite and work for the good of the party,” she said.

“We are calling upon all party members from all wings to bury the hatchet and move forward. Personally I am a victim of G40, but I will not seek revenge.”
