FORMER Tongai Moyo band member, Matthew Perego, has been appointed Tems Logistics Bus Company  brand ambassador.

Perego, who has since formed his own group after successful stints with Romeo Gasa and Peter Moyo,  believes God is now answering his dreams.

During the just-ended Heroes Day holiday, he was invited to put pen to paper at the company’s headquarters in South Africa.

One of the founding directors of Tems Logistics, Edward Chikumbu, confirmed Perego’s appointment.

“We are three founding directors of this company, myself Edward Chikumbu, Tendai Dambi and Rhodes Mutasa.

“It is true that Mathew Perego is now officially our Tems Logistics Bus Company brand ambassador with immediate effect.

“We endorsed Perego as our brand ambassador after having been moved by his professionalism from the days he used to work for both Tongai Moyo and later on Peter Moyo,” said Chikumbu.

The director added:

“We started rallying behind him when he was playing with the likes of Romeo Gasa and his friendship with others like First Farai.

“We also helped him with guitars, studio fees and cash when he started his own band called Strategic Band with which he recorded his first album Dhiri Rakanaka in 2022.

“Since we believe in him, Tems Logistics is going to also pay for his video shoots.”

Speaking after arriving in South Africa, Perego could not hide his excitement.

“The guys bought me a cellphone, shoes and clothes for the whole band.

“We promise to remain disciplined and loyal to them for their kindness.”
