The Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) has started holding training sessions on the use of the monitoring and evaluation dashboard that was designed by its innovation hub for Vice President Kembo Mohadi Office to monitor and evaluate projects under the social service ministries.
The monitoring and evaluation dashboard, known as Chiringa (meaning “look” in Shona), which was presented to the Permanent Secretary in the Office of Vice President Mohadi, Dr Benson Martins Dube, permanent secretaries from the Social Service Cluster, and parastatal heads in June, provides real-time updates on the progress of various projects under VP Mohadi’s jurisdiction.
The training sessions are for all project officers, managers, and directors in Bindura.
Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christmas Denhere said the dashboard provides the Vice President’s Office with a comprehensive overview of project statuses across all social service ministries.
“The real-time data visualisation enables the VP to make data-driven decisions for resource allocation and interventions,” he said.
“It also enhances accountability and transparency in project implementation,” he said.
BUSE’s director of ICT, Mr Hamadziripi Tsokodayi said the software can track and generate comprehensive project reports.
