Prophet Passion Java files fraud charges against Chimombe, Mpofu

Prophet Passion Java has filed fraud charges against businessmen Moses Mpofu and Mike Chimombe.
Chimombe is jointly accused with Moses Mpofu, who allegedly submitted forged documents for Juluka Enndo Joint Venture company when he made his bid for the City of Harare US$9,2 million street lights tender.

Prophet Java is accusing the two businessmen of defrauding him US$300 000 over the matter.

Prophet Java alleged that the two lured him to also invest in the deal through a company called Juluka Projects and Plant Hire.

The matter was reported at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport police station over the weekend and investigations are in progress.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi said, “I can confirm that a report was made and we are investigating the case.”

He could not divulge more details.
