Businessman approaches court over death threats

A Harare businessman is living in fear after a Dzivarasekwa bouncer threatened to kill him and kidnap his children, the court has heard.

Malcom Sikitara (42) appeared in court facing charges of threatening to kill Musa Muteteli (35).

He was remanded out of custody to February 27 for routine remand when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Ms Ethel Chichera.

It is the State’s case that on February 8, 2025, Sikitara went to Muteteli’s workplace in Belvedere, Harare, and threatened to kill the complainant and kidnap his children.

The court heard that Sikitara continued with the threats.

Muteteli is now living in fear for his life and that of his family.
