Businessman loses cash to robbers

A LOCAL businessman lost US$50 000 cash to robbers on Monday.

Tristan Ali Mohamed, 27, of Braeside closed his company ,located along Shepherton Road in Graniteside, and went home on Friday.

He reported back for duty on Monday and found that someone had gained entry through the window, broke three secured safes and stolen the money.

Police confirmed the case.

“Police are investigating a robbery case involving US$50 000 that was stolen at a company along Shepherton Road in Graniteside,” said Insp Chakanza.
