Busy Signal partners Chiyangwa in video

COULD newly elected Zifa president Philip “Phidza” Chiyangwa be the next big dancehall star alongside Tocky Vibes and Winky D? Probably not, but that has not stopped him from working with one. Jamaica-based reggae star, Busy Signal, who was in Zimbabwe for a show in Harare last month, recently released the music video for his single “Out of Many (One)” where he used Chiyangwa’s “White House” mansion and top-of-the-range vehicles for the shoot.

Dressed in a traditional thawb attire, Busy Signal is captured making his way around the lavish home with servants at his beck and call.

After having what appears to be breakfast in the spacious mansion decorated by sculptures of lions, the Come Over (Missing You) hit-maker steps into the back of mukoma Phidza’s unmistakable Rolls Royce Phantom where he finds a chauffeur on standby with the Phantom’s suicide doors wide open. He is driven around Harare on his way to a meeting which is conducted in one of Chiyangwa’s boardrooms.

From the meeting, Busy Signal jumps onto a Hummer H2 Limo Transformer which is usually used by Chiyangwa and his friends. A few shots of clips are taken in the Hummer and the Jamaican switches to using a baby blue Bentley Continental GT which has personalised Chiyangwa “PC” number plates.

The video is just about as lavish as Chiyangwa’s actual life, but sadly, the “King of Selfies” does not make a cameo in the video. The song is in line with Chiyangwa’s property as it is about Signal’s lavish lifestyle.

The video, released last week, is available on video sharing site, YouTube. It has close to 22,000 hits.
