THE Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services has been awarded second place in the Best Radio Infomercial of the Year category at the National Exceptional Marketing Awards (NEMA), organised by the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ).

In a statement, the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr Nick Mangwana, said the award was in recognition of its campaign infomercial on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, which was successfully enacted into law.

He described the award as recognition of the collective efforts of broadcasters, communicators and public servants working to keep the nation informed.

“We are deeply honoured and humbled to have been awarded second place in the Best Radio Infomercial of the Year category at the National Exceptional Marketing Awards by MAZ for our campaign infomercial on CAB3,” wrote Mr Mangwana on his official X account.

He said the recognition extended beyond the ministry to all those involved in public communication and information dissemination.

“This recognition belongs not to us alone, but to every broadcaster, communicator and public servant who works tirelessly to keep our nation informed,” said Mr Mangwana.

He said the ministry remained committed to fulfilling its public information mandate.

“We remain committed to serving you with humility and dedication,” he said.

Mr Mangwana also congratulated other winners and nominees, saying the awards provided an opportunity to celebrate efforts to communicate Zimbabwe’s story. “Together, we tell Zimbabwe’s story,” he said.
