The Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services has announced that Cabinet will sit on Monday next week. Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda said the meeting would be held at the usual venue and time. “The Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr MJM Sibanda wishes to advise Cabinet ministers that the next Cabinet meeting will be held on Monday, 26th October 2015, at the usual place and time.”

Cabinet traditionally sits on Tuesdays, but the day can be shifted if there is pressing business on a Tuesday.

Since the beginning of this year when President Mugabe assumed the African Union chairmanship, Cabinet has been held on days other than Tuesdays due to his busy schedule, which demands that he attends to AU business more often.
