Several Zimdancehall artistes will tomorrow perform at Stoddart Netball Complex in Mbare for Seh Calaz’s “Bandit Rebirth” album launch.

Toky Vibes, Freeman, Guspy Warrior, Killert T and Dhadza D among others are set to share the stage at the event.

Popular DJs including Godfather Templeman, Garry B, DJ Cables and Etherton are part of the line up.

Speaking through his manager Godfrey Vokal Bakasa, Seh Calaz said he is happy to be launching his album and urged all Zimdancehall fans to come in their numbers to witness the performance.

“I am really excited to be launching this album and urge fans to come in their numbers and witness the “Rebirth” being performed live for the first time, we promising a very polished act,” he said.

He said the launch is going to be a different one since it will see different DJs also clashing.

“This launch is a bit different from the others as we have sound DJs clashing in a friendly manner, the main aim will be entertaining the crowd,” he said.

He also said his music has changed since on the new album he is focusing on social issues that affect the society including gender-based violence among others.

“We live in the ghetto and I am a story teller, I have been looking at the day to day issues like unwanted pregnancies which lead to abortion, unemployment, gender based violence. In this album we have tried to tackle all those issues,” he said. The album carries eight tracks including “Usamurove”, “Rege Vacheme”, “Kurarama Kwangu” and “Kudza Vabereki” among others.

Organisers of the event Royal Events, through their spokesperson Sasha Musarira, said they are looking forward to a great show.

“Everything is set and with the line-up we have we are just looking forward to a successful show as we celebrate Calaz’s milestone in the entertainment industry.”
