Calaz salutes fans for support

SEH Calaz has saluted fans for endorsing his latest album titled ‘‘Reggae Dzinorira’’.

The chanter said his latest album, which was unveiled at the City Sports Centre on New Year’s Eve, is centred on his personal life.

“World, there you have it.  Here is the full track list of my fifth reggae project which I titled Reggae Dzinorira.

“In it, I touch on various issues from my own life experiences and life as we know it in general and it is my hope that each and every person who listens to the album finds something they identify with,” he said in his Facebook post.

Calaz reckons he nailed it by coming up with a catchy album title.

“I chose this album title because broadly I wanted to communicate what I believe, which is that music never dies, no matter the genre.

“Talents are God given and only God alone can determine where and how the story ends.

“One bad chapter doesn’t end a book. I say this because there has been a coordinated and almost relentless attack to write the final chapter on Zimdancehall, but I’m here to say ‘‘Reggae Dzinorira’’. Zvakatangwa naMwari, zvichapedzwa naMwari.”

He added:

“To all my fans, thank you for the unconditional love, ndimi vanhu vacho.

“To those who are not my fans, thank you also because your criticism and bad vibes give me energy to do my best.

“To all the producers and artists who worked on this project, I thank you.

“Reggae ngadzirire.”
