Following the announcement of new dates for this year’s Intwasa Arts Festival KoBulawayo, organisers are inviting performing artistes to be part of this artistic and cultural extravaganza.

Originally scheduled for September 25 to 28, the festival will now take place from November 28 to 30.

In a social media post, the organisers specified the types of artistry they are seeking: “Intwasa Arts Festival is looking for a diverse range of artistes – musicians and bands, contemporary and traditional dance groups, and spoken word artistes based in Bulawayo—to showcase their talent during this year’s festival.”

Artistes interested in this opportunity have until October 31 to apply for a performing slot.

“To apply, artistes need to send an email to [email protected], including a brief artiste bio and description of performance as well as video or audio links showcasing works.”

Intwasa Arts Festival KoBulawayo has been one of the flagship artistic showcase platforms in Bulawayo for many years.
