Call to tackle jobs crisis

The 2019 African Economic Conference (AEC) opened in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh amid calls for African policymakers to take bold steps to tackle red-tape and high start-up costs in order to create decent and well-paying jobs for the youth on the continent.
Addressing the opening plenary of the three-day conference, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr said the conference provided a critical platform to address the challenges of jobs for the youth on the continent. — New Ziana.
