A 56-year-old man from Bulawayo’s Tshabalala suburb is appealing for financial assistance to undergo treatment for a tumour that developed when he underwent an eye cancer operation in 2010. Mr Jeffrey Mbuyazwe has malignant tumour next to his right ear and on the cheek. He is seeking about $7 000 for treatment.

Narrating his ordeal to Chronicle, Mr Mbuyazwe said he found out that he had cancer when it was at an advanced stage.

“I discovered I had cancer in December 2009, the doctors said it was at a  very late stage. I was operated on at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia in March 2010. Doctors removed a tissue which weighed about a kilogramme,” said Mr Mbuyazwe.
He said after the operation, he developed cancerous lumps on his face that are fatal.

“These lumps need to be operated on before they spread to the rest of the face. Doctors have also said I have water in my head which needs to be removed or it will cause me to stroke and they want $7 000 for the procedure,” said Mr Mbuyazwe.

He appealed to anyone who is in a position to assist to contact him on 0779 555 965 or deposit money into Barclays account number 25981018729.
