party will win the polls. He said Zanu-PF was a refreshing party with brilliant ideas.
“Contrary to some ideas that Zanu-PF is a stagnant party, it has depth of cadres with seasoned experience in various fields. We have already proven ourselves in different endeavours. In Gutu South, we are going to win resoundingly,” said Dr Chimedza.
“In some instances, we have as high as 11 candidates competing to be councilors and MPs and that alone showed that people are flocking to Zanu-PF in large numbers. Zanu-PF is the new game in town.”
Cde Butau said Zanu-PF had pioneered a number of progressive programmes such as the land reform programme and the economic empowerment drive that benefited the previously marginalised.
He said Zanu-PF’s policies were people centred and were in line with the virtues and ideals of the liberation struggle.
“Zanu-PF is the only party that has clear economic policies that can transform lives of people in this country,” said Cde Butau.
“Many people have already benefitted under the land reform programme and now the party has initiated the indigenisation and economic empowerment programme that is already bearing positive fruits for the country.
“I urge all people to go and defend these national benefits by voting for Zanu-PF resoundingly in the harmonised elections set for 31 July,” he said.
