Cannibal Inn reopening, promises fireworks

Entertainment Correspondent
ENTERTAINMENT joint, Cannibal Inn Bar, situated along Mutare-Bulawayo Highway last Friday opened shop with its new owners promising undiluted fun.

The leisure centre used to be one of the hottest entertainment centres in Mutare before it sunk into oblivion a few years ago following the sprouting of other pleasure centres in Mutare and surrounding areas.

The new-look centre which underwent massive renovations marked its return last Friday by hosting renowned dance group ensemble, Jika Majika and veteran wheel spinner, Tichaona “DJ Fresh” Zhuwau.

The Sakubva-based dance group kept revellers on their feet.

In an interview, the club proprietor, Zvikomborero Mupasa, said the centre would be officially launched at the end of this month.

“Popular renowned musicians we can’t disclose for professional reasons are lined up to perform at the launch as we aim to send a message to our beloved patrons that Cannibal Inn is back with a bang.

“We open everyday and we offer excellent services.

“We have a butchery that offers quality meat as well as braai facilities and ice cold beer.

“We have competent and trained staff and we are raring to go. By Friday (today), we will be having a new VIP section that will accommodate patrons with privilege cards,” he said.
