A TOTAL of 10 local capital market players will next Friday walk away with accolades at the third edition of the Capital Markets Awards hosted by Business Weekly in partnership with UK-based Financial Markets Indaba.
According to the organisers, the awards ceremony is a prestigious event that brings together leaders from across the industry to celebrate innovation, success, and commitment to excellence.
This year’s edition of the Capital Markets Awards ceremony will be held on December 15 at Rainbow Towers Hotel from 6pm.
The event will be a showcase of the best and brightest in the industry, with awards in a variety of categories including Best Performing Listed Company, Best Interest Bearing Fund, Best Stockbroker of the Year (Firm), Best Investment Research Provider, ESG Award of the Year (Listed Entity), Best VFEX Listed Company, Best Investor Communication Award, Best Equities Fund, Best Stockbroker (Individual) and Lifetime Achievement Award. IH Securities and OK Zimbabwe are the only two that received two nominees each. In addition to the awards ceremony, the event will also feature a keynote speech from guest of honour Deputy Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion David Mnangagwa, panel discussions on the latest trends, and networking opportunities.
According to the organisers, the Capital Markets Awards ceremony is an opportunity to network with industry peers and celebrate the success of the capital markets industry.
Attendees can use this unique gathering to connect or reconnect with clients, build strong business relations with prospects and hear the market’s financial leaders speak on how they are navigating the current economic climate as well as share their expectations for the year ahead.
