CAPS face tricky Harare City

Taurai Mangwiro has handled the challenge, and their fans have forgotten the last time their team lost.
The only concern for Makepekepe remains the cloud that has been hanging over Mangwiro, who is one of the people set to be slapped with bans today by Zifa allegedly for their role in the Asiagate match-fixing scandal.
CAPS United have said they will support their coach, in the event he is banned, to help him clear his name, and have thrown the same support behind their implicated players.
CAPS and Harare City are only separated by a point on the log standings, with the Harare giants sitting on ninth position.
“We expect them to come out firing because this is the same side that has surprised some big teams this season,” said Mangwiro.
“I think their coach Bigboy Mawiwi has done a good job to be where they are at the moment.
“They are only one point below us and we should be at our best.”
The Green Machine will miss the services of Shingi Kawondera who is still nursing a groin injury.
Kawondera could be joined in the sidelines by leftback Asani Nhongo who has an ankle problem. 
Makepekepe are also warming up for a tough encounter with Motor Action, which has been pencilled in for this Saturday.
The Green Machine have already parted ways with Evans Gwekwerere who has moved to join former Botswana league champions Township Rollers on a two-year contract.
The club is also home to the Zimbabwean trio of coach Darlington Dodo and strikers Tongai Magwendere and Conrad Whitby.
Gwekwerere paid tribute to CAPS United vice-president, Farai Jere, with a touching text message as he left the Green Machine.
“Thank you for everything you did for me and my family,” Gwekwerere said in his text.
“I will pray to God so that He gives you more blessings, I won’t forget you in my life, God bless you, your family and your business.
“I wish you all the blessings in our game. CAPS United Football Club, you are still the champions. God is with you.”
Gwekwerere’s agent, George Deda, said his player had received a dream offer in Botswana.
“He is happy that CAPS United allowed him to go after they mutually agreed to terminate his contract, which was expiring in December,” said Deda.
