CAR VANISHES AT GATE! Kwekwe man loses Honda Aria in midnight theft

A KWEKWE man was left stunned after his Honda Aria vanished without a trace while parked at a friend’s gate in the dead of night.
The daring car theft happened around 1AM on 17 July in the Mbizo suburb, sending shockwaves through the quiet community.
Midlands provincial police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the incident and said police are appealing for leads.

“The vehicle, a Honda Aria, was stolen on July 17 at about 1AM in Mbizo, Kwekwe. We are calling on anyone with information to assist in locating the vehicle and arresting the suspects,” he said.
The owner, Leonard Tapfuma of Mbizo Extension, had parked the car outside his friend’s house and gone inside. When he came out a short while later, the car had vanished.

The stolen vehicle’s registration number is AFI 8874.
Police are urging the public to report any suspicious activity or sightings of the vehicle to the nearest police station or officers on patrol.
