AFRO-FUSION musician, Carlos Green, has nailed it in his latest album titled The Trophy.
The 31-year-old’s move to engage three producers Gibson Makumbe, Simplex and DJ Tamuka paid off.
It was launched at Bar Rouge last Thursday.
Some of the songs on the album are Melisa, Usandinyebere, Baba Carlo, Munamato and The Trophy.
He featured Killer T, Gogo Kanengu, and Shantel Sithole.
“I have gone full circle and roped in three producers on this album for variety’s sake.
“I am happy because the move has paid off.
“If you listen to this album, you can see I now have a distinct sound.
“It is also my hope that my album will be embraced by many since I am determined to show my creativity,” he said.
Green, who started off as a rapper, is not regretting the move he made to become an Afro-fusion musician.
“It was not an easy decision which I made to make that transition but I am glad that the initiative has helped me a lot.”
