TOP comedian Carl Joshua Ncube’s wife Nelsy was discharged from hospital yesterday after being admitted due to a miscarriage she suffered on Tuesday.

Nelsy had been admitted at Effiel Flats Hospital for two days where doctors were doing a D&C procedure to clean her womb after the miscarriage.

Posting on his Facebook page Ncube expressed delight and relief in telling his friends and fans that Nelsy had been discharged from hospital and was recovering at home.“Thank God Nelsy is finally back home and resting. She is much better and we thank you so much for your messages,” wrote Ncube.

In another post he thanked everyone who had offered their support and prayers.

“Thank you Lord for amazing people around us…thank you everyone for all the love I cannot reply every message but want you all to know that we will be OK…time to look on the bright side (ZESA willing) thank you again. God is amazing He truly is.”

The miscarriage came two weeks after the couple celebrated their third marriage anniversary.

Last month Ncube posted on his Facebook wall a pregnancy test showing that the couple was expecting a baby. The Ncubes were quoted in the media saying they were excited about the prospect of becoming parents in nine months’ time.

However on Tuesday, Ncube announced the sad news on social media and described the day as being horrible for his wife, who was three months pregnant.
