A MEDICAL doctor has been arrested for allegedly conniving with a Murehwa man to process fake death confirmation records for his two children to claim US$10 000 from the family’s funeral policy.
The doctor has since appeared in court on fraud charges.
Dr Abraham Mapfumo (35), who was based at Murehwa District Hospital, allegedly misrepresented that Mica Nsamba’s two children had died of pneumonia in separate incidents, while admitted at the hospital.
