CAPE TOWN – Parliament has officially received the resignation letter of former president Jacob Zuma, National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete confirmed on Thursday.
President Mnangagwa mourns Tsvangirai
PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has sent a condolence message to the Tsvangirai family following the death of veteran opposition leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai last night. The MDC-T leader died at a South African hospital after a long battle with cancer of the colon.

GOVERNMENT has instructed the Zimbabwean Embassy in Pretoria to assist the Tsvangirai family in any way appropriate, including meeting expenses attendant to the handling of the body of the now deceased, pending decisions to be made later.

Scrap cancer therapy charges — First Lady
First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa has appealed to Government to scrap radiotherapy charges for cancer patients. Addressing hundreds of people in Masvingo, she said the current $400 charge per session was beyond the reach of many cancer patients.
