THE post-mortem results of the man who was fatally assaulted at Afro 161 Bar and Restaurant, opposite Belgravia Shopping Centre, were released yesterday.
The results concluded that a blunt force to the head caused David Matambo’s death.
The Matambo family spokesperson, Sarah Matambo, told H-Metro that David’s body will be taken to his Kuwadzana home ahead of burial.
“We received the results of the post-mortem today (yesterday),” said Sarah.
“If all goes according to plan, we want the body to be taken to his house today.
“The family will decide burial arrangements tonight (last night),” said Sarah.
David was allegedly assaulted by Calisto Murawo at Afro 161, after his wife swiped another vehicle in the car park while reversing her car.

David is reported to have left the car to inspect the extent of the damage, caused by his wife, when Callisto punched him on the head.
He fell onto the ground and Calisto is alleged to have kicked him several times on the head before disappearing.
David was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Calisto handed himself to the police two days later.
He appeared in court and was remanded in custody.
He is expected in the High Court for a bail hearing today.
