Cde Taderera dies

Former deputy minister of Environment and Tourism and long standing member of Zanu-PF Cde Albert Taderera has died. Cde Taderera died yesterday at the Avenues Clinic in Harare after being taken ill last Thursday. ZBC last night reported that during the liberation struggle, Cde Taderera was detained for several years by the colonial regime for his unwavering support of the liberation war.

At independence, Cde Taderera was appointed deputy minister of the then Ministry of Environment and Tourism.

Mourners were gathered at Zambezi Flats in Mabelreign in Harare.

Burial arrangements would be announced in due course.
