Cde Mushore was a former Zanu PF Chairman for Mashonaland Central province and a former Member of Parliament for Muzarabani South.

VPs arrive for burial

‘Cde Mushore was a family man’
Cde Luke Mushore’s grandchild, Ms Natalie Mushore has been invited to the podium to give remarks on behalf of the Mushore family.

Ms Mushore says the family is grateful to President Mnangagwa and the nation for the honour bestowed upon national hero Cde Mushore.
She describes Cde Mushore as a family man who loved his family and nation.

President Mnangagwa has taken to the podium to address the guests and dignitaries who have gathered at the National Heroes Acre for the burial of Cde Mushure.
The President says Cde Mushore’s death is a huge blow to the nation and his family.

He says Cde Mushore was a reliable cadre who played a huge role in the liberation struggle and the Land Reform Programme.
“Let us therefore never forget that it is through the sacrifices and dedication of the late Cde Mushore and many others that our motherland, Zimbabwe, is an independent country,” said the President.
“The late national hero vaiva bango rakasimba rataivimba naro mumusangano we Zanu PF, vaisava zinyeke nyeke.
“I challenge all Zimbabweans, particularly the youth, to take lessons from the true patriotism and discipline of our late national hero.
He said we have the primary responsibility to develop Zimbabwe brick by brick, stone upon stone.
