adminMr George Chiraya, the director of CellOne, said the company was poised for growth this year as plans were afoot to open more branches countrywide.
“There is an opportunity for growth this year and we have identified areas to expand the business. So far we have earmarked space for shops in and outside Harare. We are expecting steady growth in 2013,” Mr Chiraya said.
The electronic shops, he said, were also going to be furnished with customer help centres where any of their products would be repaired free of charge.
“Since we are gearing up for growth we want to introduce value-added services for our customers and long-term guarantee on all our products.
“The customer help centres will have technicians who will be repairing the electronic gadgets for free so that the customers will not have to look for those services elsewhere. “Another important thing in this aspect is that we encourage customers to buy our electronic gadgets which are original because we have back-up spares for them,” he said.
CellOne started operating in 2007 with only one branch but it has since opened more branches in Harare due to its product range. Now it has a staff complement of over 30.
The company deals in cellphone accessories, the latest television sets, printers and cameras among other gadgets.
