CHAPMAN will host the CBZ Bank Golf Day with a total field of 100 players expected to tee off this afternoon.
The event is aimed at bringing together CBZ staff, customers and business partners. The format will be a four-ball-better-ball stableford and there will be team and individual prizes. The event will see several amateur golfers taking to the field.
Meanwhile, Royal Harare will also host the FBC Golf day today and it is expected to have a strong field as well.
The annual event will bring together amateur players.
And the Zimbabwe Ladies Golf Union will hold their annual meeting on October 19 at Wingate Park where new leadership is likely to be voted into office. The event comes on the day the ZLGU calendar, which is left with only one event, comes to an end. Currently Nancy Dube is the acting president after she took over from Marita Kahwema who resigned from the post after a year in office.
Speaking through their monthly newsletter the ZLGU public relations manager, Evelyn Maisvoreva, said they are coming towards the end of their calendar with one event to go.
